Date with my husband.....

At an Indians game! We had a great time tonight. We took off and left the kids with Grandma and headed for the game. We stopped and had dinner together, boy...it was quiet without our kids, but very nice. We then took our time getting up to Jacob's field to watch the game! It was a nice relaxing evening together! After the game they had a fireworks display and a light show too! It was awesome!
Tomorrow we headed back to Massillon to go to the Zoo with Mindy and the kids! It should be a good time!

Me and my date for the night!! We had such a great time together and it was nice having a "date" night!
Our view from our seats. We were up VERY high, but could see all the action.

The fireworks after the game...

The light show during the fireworks. It was a blast.

The fireworks show after the game! It was about an hour long and awesome!!!

Having lots of FUN!!!!

We have been having a GREAT time the past few days! Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Chad and Laura's swimming in their nice pool! Boy do I wish I had one of those in my backyard! Someday maybe! We had a nice visit and the kids LOVED being in the pool the whole time!
Then today we had Steve's Grandma and Grandpa over for dinner. It was nice to be with so much family! I sure do miss this for my kids...and myself. Maybe someday. I am starting to get homesick though! I miss my puppy Samson back home, but I know that he is doing good hanging out with our friend Scott while we are away.
Next week is looking crazy busy! I am looking forward to it! Tomorrow night is going to be an exciting night for me and Steve.....we are having a DATE NIGHT!! Yep... a night out just the two of us. We have decided to head up to an Indian's game and check out the firework display afterwards! I think we will go out to dinner first! I am really excited about it! The kids are going to hang out here with Grandma for the evening and watch a movie and have popcorn and other "goodies" I am sure! Then Saturday we are going up to the zoo and spending the day with Mindy and the kids while the guys all go golfing (hopefully) we haven't confirmed all of the details yet, but Mindy if you are reading this post....MINDY HERE WE COME!!! Just kidding! Hopefully the weather will stay nice for the next week, but I doubt it. I am anxious for a GOOD storm while we are home, but haven't had any luck yet. I love storms and we don't get ANY out in California hardly EVER. If it thunders out there they issue tornado warnings.... ha ha just kidding!!
Here are some pics. They are all out of order, but you should be use to that by now. One day I will sit and try to figure it out...

My sister and me! Spending quality time together...ha ha! I miss hanging out with her!

My in laws doggy, Buddy. He is such a cutie and loves the kids! He is sitting here begging right now looking so cute!

Me and my sister, Holly. She has been here almost everyday to hang out with me! I sure do miss her a lot! We were always together when I lived here in Mansfield.....those were the good ole days!!

What a cute couple!! I hate this picture is a little blurry, but our focus on our OLD camera is acting up. Steve claims it's the photographer, but obviously it's not just me!!!

Jaelyn "sunbathing". She was tired by the end of the day. So was mommy and daddy! We had a fun day!

Tyler getting ready to jump in! We are going to do swimming lessons when we get back to California!

The girls posing for a picture!! They stayed in the pool the WHOLE time we were there!

Check out Jaelyn's crooked ponytails! Who is this girls mother? It doesn't take long for Jaelyn to mess up her hair!!

A day at Alum Creek!

Today we had a fun day at Alum Creek! We packed up coolers, bags, kids, and sunscreen and headed towards Columbus to go swimming! Jaelyn was crying last night to go to the beach (I think she misses home) so we decided to go to there today instead of going to the pool.
I am so happy that we are home! We are totally enjoying all the fun we are having being home. Sunday was a blast at Mikayla's birthday party! She made such a sweet birthday princess!! We are so glad that we could be there to help celebrate! I am praying that we soon find a way to get closer to home, so we don't have to be away from our family any longer. Being home makes me miss everything even more! So please keep us in your prayers!

Crazy kids!! They are ready to go swimming and have a fun day in the sun!!
I'm ready mom!!! Take me swimming!!!

Look at these tired eyes....and this is on the way to go swimming!

My handsome husband!! He had a great time today too! He played in the water with the kids almost the whole day!

Jaelyn running in and out of the water. She had fun in the water today! I couldn't believe that she wasn't afraid!! I was very proud of her!

Tyler in the water swimming! He loved the water today and wouldn't stay out of it. They had a blast!

We Are HERE!!!

We are finally here in OHIO!! It took us a while, but we finally made it. We flew in to Pittsburgh, picked up a rental car and drove a couple of hours to Akron, got our hotel room and showered, and then made our way over to Kris and Mindy's house to hang out for the evening. Mindy, Alec, and Mikayla were waiting out on the front porch when we got there. I was dying to hold Mikayla as soon as I saw her, but knew I had to take it slow!! She did warm up to us eventually and we had her smiling by the end of the night. She sure does have a sweet personality, just like her big brother. Tyler and Alec hit it off great. They ran in and out all evening long, rode Alec's go-kart together, played in Alec's toy room, and were.....boys! They sure did have a blast. CHelsea enjoyed hanging around Mikayla and trying to help when she could, she sure does like babies...hmmm...not sure where she gets that from? Jaelyn, well as you see in the pictures, she hung out at the swingset. She LOVES to swing and has since she was a baby.
We had a great visit and I am hoping to get back up here again to hang out with Kris and Mindy and the kids.
Thanks Mindy for having us invade your house!! I know you have a lot going on with the busy plans for tomorrow, so thanks for making time for us!!!

FINALLY the moment I have been waiting for! What a wonderful way to meet Mikayla Faith! We spent the evening there and ate dinner and had a nice and enjoyable visit. I was so pleasantly surprised that Mikayla actually let me hold her. She has such a sweet spirit and I can not WAIT to see her in her toddler years. She is going to be such a fun and energetic little girl! She had me laughing all evening long! It really made me sad that we don't live closer together!

Jaelyn LOVING Alec's swing set! This girl would stay on the swing all night long if we would let her.

Tyler and Jaelyn Playing with Alec's go-cart. Tyler didn't want to drive it at first, but once he did we couldn't get him to stop! They had a great time playing with their cousins!!

Here is Alec being the pit crew for Tyler. He is pretending to put new tires on for Tyler. He definitly has a mechanical mind! He is one smart cookie!
Alec is telling Tyler to GO...cause he is done putting tires on now!!

I'm LEAVING tomorrow!!!!

Well, this will be really quick! I have spent the day in a whirlwind trying to get things packed for our trip to Ohio. We weren't suppose to leave until next week, but since we are taking a military flight we are leaving tomorrow. There just so happened to be a flight to CLEVELAND, OHIO tomorrow!! This is like a miracle flight because they mainly fly to bases, not airports!! I knew this was a God thing, so I went to Steve's shop and talked him into turning in his leave! They approved it and we haven't stopped since!! I have been on the phone, packing, doing VBS tonight, to the airport twice, and doing laundry today!! It is crazy! I am about finished and will finish the rest tomorrow!
I am finally going to meet my niece Mikayla tomorrow!! Hooray!! We also get to be there for her 1st birthday, so I am sooooo excited!! It will be a great day.
Ok. I should probably get some sleep for our big day tomorrow. The bad part about taking a Military flight is that it can change at any time. We might not get on that flight, so please pray that we do! If we don't get the Cleveland flight, they have a flight to Pittsburgh, PA too!! Hopefully we get on one of them!!
Next time I post, it will be in OHIO!!

Testing....

I can't get my blog to work, so I am just putting this on here to test it!!

Finally!!!

I have been trying to get my blog to work all weekend with no luck!! I am not sure how I fixed it, but I did...or maybe it was the website? I don't know!!

Well, we had an AWESOME Father's Day!! We woke up early and went to Church and in the Church service they passed out ice cream to just be fun!! It is a tradition at our Church on Father's Day and pretty cool too!! Steve then went with golfing with his buddy and his buddy's dad whom has adopted Steve as his son!! They had a great time out on the golf course, but boy was it HOT!! Once they were done the guys came home and Susan and I were all packed and ready to go up to Lake Berryessa to spend a few hours on the boat! We drove up to Lake Berryessa, which is maybe 45 minutes away and went out on the Lake. We got there later in the afternoon, so the big crowd was mostly gone already. We went with Steve and Susan and their twin girls Hannah and Tess!! The kids had a blast and enjoyed riding on the boat. Jaelyn woke up this morning asking to go back out on the boat! We plan on going back up there when we get back from Ohio!

I just want to take the time to "thank" my husband for being such a great father. He is a wonderful father to our Children and I couldn't be more proud of him!! He takes time to help his children when they need help with their homework, he takes them to the park and flies kites with them, he will give them their bath at night and make sure they get there hair washed (well not Chelsea, she is old enough to do it herself...ha ha), he is just a great dad!! He doesn't hesitate to step in and cook dinner... or think twice about stopping what he is doing to kiss a boo boo! I am so in love with this man even more now than the day we married because of the man he has turned into! Thank you Steve for being a great dad and the best husband in the world!! I am thankful that you are passing these great things on to your children...especially your son. But most of all I am so happy that you are sharing Jesus with them each and every day!!!

Are we going yet? Can you tell Chelsea is exhausted in this picture? She came home after camping for the weekend with our neighbors at Great Basin and then we took her out on the boat. She was pretty tired!!

My handsome husband! I love this man so much, he is an awesome husband and the best dad in the world. He truly loves spending time with his children and playing right along their side! (Maybe cause he is still a kid himself...ha ha!) Seriously...I couldn't have been blessed with a better man! I love you Steve!!

Ahhh...this is the life!!

Susan and Hannah enjoying the ride!!

Do you see any fish in there? Hmmm... I wonder how warm the water is?

Tyler loved the water once he got in and use to it. It actually was pretty warm from what they said...I took their word for it!!

Can you tell Jaelyn wasn't too thrilled with the water? She was the one asking to go in it and swim, but once she got there she screamed her head off!

My sweet baby girl. Well...she's not much of a baby anymore!

Can we slow down a bit? I see boats up ahead!!! It took me a while to get use to going fast out on the lake, but once I did get use to it I had a blast!!

Time for a potty break! These potties are out in the middle of the lake! It was the funniest thing I had ever seen....but they sure didn't smell very great!! Yuck!!

Some of the scenery up on the Lake. Lake Berryessa is a man made lake, but it's hard to believe!! It is so beautiful!!

Jaelyn chowing down on some Cheetos...don't worry they are the baked kind!! They actually don't taste too bad!

Steve's best friend....Steve J. taking his own picture with my camera. That his wife in the background...

Tyler racing daddy in the lake!!
I love this picture with the sun setting! I could have stayed out on that boat all night long!!

Daddy and Jaelyn sitting in the back of the boat!!

I am driving myself home mom!! Let's GO!!! Check out Hannah hiding behind the seatbelt!!
